Conference by David Vinamont, author and trainer. During this conference, David will discuss the different ways of learning tea in Belgium: schools, training courses, personal journeys, etc. A meeting to better understand what tea training means today, and why this approach is essential for more informed consumption.
David Vinamont has been involved in the tea world for a decade. After several years spent at a major specialty retailer, he chose to devote himself to teaching his knowledge. He then joined the CEFOR school in Namur, where he trains future food professionals in the subtleties of tea.
In 2021, he published Thés du Japon (Théas du Japon) with Murmure des Soirs, a sensitive and well-researched introduction to the world of Japanese teas. Since 2024, he has co-hosted the Tea Experience podcast, a 100% Belgian show that gives voice to tea professionals.
During this conference, David will discuss the different paths to tea learning in Belgium: schools, training courses, personal journeys, and more. A discussion to better understand what tea education means today and why this approach is essential for more informed consumption.
